Terms & Conditions
By engaging with Jones Refinishing and Restoration Services (“we,” “us,” “our”), the client (“you,” “your”) agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. General Terms of Service
- All services provided are based on the initial consultation, surface assessment, and agreed-upon scope of work.
- Any changes to the project after confirmation may result in additional charges and/or extended timelines.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring access to the work area and that it is clean and clear of personal items before the start of service.
- We reserve the right to refuse service in unsafe, unsanitary, or unfit environments.
2. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service.
- Payments can be made via cash, debit/credit card, or other approved electronic payment methods.
- Late payments are subject to a 5% late fee per week past the due date.
3. No Refund Policy
- All sales and services are final.
- Due to the customized nature of our refinishing and restoration work, we do not offer refunds once a service has been performed.
- In the unlikely event of an issue with the workmanship, we offer a limited service warranty, and will return to assess and address the concern within the warranty period.
4. Consultation Terms & Conditions
- Consultations (in-person or virtual) may be subject to a non-refundable consultation fee, which will be disclosed prior to scheduling.
- This fee covers time, assessment, and expert recommendations and does not guarantee service approval or booking.
- Consultations are valid for 14 days. If service is not booked within that time, a new consultation may be required.
5. Project Timelines
- We aim to meet all estimated project timelines, but unforeseen circumstances (weather, client delay, material shortages, etc.) may affect scheduling.
- We are not liable for any delays beyond our control but will communicate any changes as early as possible.
6. Warranty
- We offer a limited warranty on workmanship (specific warranty details provided per service).
- Warranty is void if surfaces are not properly maintained or are damaged by misuse, impact, harsh chemicals, or third-party repairs.
7. Liability
- We are insured and take all reasonable care during service.
- However, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, structural issues, or damage caused by improper use before or after the service.
8. Client Responsibility
- The client must disclose any known issues with surfaces (e.g., leaks, soft spots, loose tiles, previous coatings).
- Failure to disclose such issues may result in unsatisfactory results, for which we are not liable.
By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
1. Care Instructions
To maintain the quality and longevity of your refinished surface, please follow these care guidelines:
General Care
- Allow the refinished surface to cure for at least 48 hours before using it.
- Use only non-abrasive cleaners (e.g., mild dish soap and a soft sponge or cloth). Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or abrasive scrubs.
- Do not use bathmats with suction cups or leave wet towels on the surface for extended periods.
Bathtubs & Showers
- Do not place soap bottles, razors, or heavy objects directly on the refinished surface.
- Avoid dropping heavy items onto the surface, as this may cause chipping.
- Use a gentle, non-slip mat if needed (ensure it is lifted and dried regularly).
Countertops & Cabinets
- Use cutting boards and trivets—do not place hot pots, pans, or sharp objects directly on the refinished surface.
- Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water.
Large Appliances
- Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent.

What is NOT Covered:
- Physical damage from impact, misuse, or improper care.
- Damage caused by harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture exposure.
- Failure due to improper use or installation by the customer.
- Pre-existing structural or plumbing issues that affect the surface.
- Any modifications or repairs not performed by Jones Refinishing & Restoration Services.
WARRANTY & CARE AGREEMENT
Jones Refinishing & Restoration Services Refinishing Over Replacing
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE Jones Refinishing & Restoration Services provides a limited 2-year warranty on refinished surfaces including bathtubs, tiles, countertops, cabinets, and large appliances. This warranty covers: Peeling or bubbling caused by product failure or application error. Cracking or flaking due to improper bonding (excluding physical impact). Surface discoloration caused by material defects. This warranty does not cover: Damage caused by impact, misuse, negligence, or improper care. Chips, scratches, or nicks from dropping objects or abrasive materials. Leaks, plumbing issues, or substrate movement that affects finish. Stains from dyes, hair products, harsh cleaners, or bathmats with suction cups. Repairs performed by any party other than Jones Refinishing & Restoration Services.
2. WARRANTY CONDITIONS For this warranty to remain valid, the client must: Follow the care and maintenance instructions outlined below. Report any concerns or damage within 5 days of discovery. Allow us to inspect and, if necessary, repair the surface. Maintain proof of service and payment. We reserve the right to determine whether damage is covered under warranty.
3. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES Care & Maintenance Instructions: To ensure longevity of your refinished surface: Use only Dawn dish soap only (no other cleaners permitted). Do NOT use harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or acidic cleaners. Avoid bathmats with suction cups, as they can pull up the coating. Rinse surfaces after each use and dry to reduce mineral build-up. Never place heavy or sharp objects directly on refinished surfaces. Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water. Do not tape or adhere anything to refinished areas.
4. WARRANTY SERVICE & CLAIMS If a covered issue arises during the warranty period: 1. Contact us at jonesrefinishingrestoration@gmail.com or 242-827-5663 2. Provide your service address, date of refinishing, and photos of the issue.
3. We will respond within 3 business days to assess the claim. If approved, we will schedule a one-time repair at no cost. Further repairs may be subject to a service fee.
5. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS This warranty is limited to the original customer and location of service. It is non-transferable. Jones Refinishing & Restoration Services liability is strictly limited to the cost of repair or reapplication and does not include incidental or consequential damages.
6. AGREEMENT CONFIRMATION By signing or agreeing below, the client acknowledges they have received, read, and agree to the warranty and care terms.
